The Town of Normal Facilities Management Department is requesting quotes for the following:

Town of Normal- Supply Procurement 2021-2022

The Town of Normal is requesting quotes for a one-year non-exclusive contract with vendors to provide custodial supplies for all Town owned and operated facilities.  Vendors providing quotations are encouraged to utilize the attached Excel spreadsheet per the recommendations noted in the specific conditions of this request.

Quotes must be submitted to Ladeen Finley, Facilities Management Assistant Supervisor, no later than 12:00 p.m. Wednesday February 24, 2021 prevailing time.  Please upload documents and specification information to the provided Excel document.  If you are unable to do so, please contact Ladeen Finley for alternative submission methods.

Pursuant to the Purchasing Manual, Town staff may purchase goods and services less than twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) in cost by obtaining quotes from three (3) or more vendors.  Although cost is an important factor, a quote is not a bid and town staff may accept any quotes submitted whether it is the lowest cost.  Quotes for the referenced product or service must be received in the office of the listed point of contact by the submission deadline described above.  The Town will only review quotes received and the risk of loss in transmission is on the vendor submitting the quote.  Vendors are encouraged to verify receipt with the identified point of contact prior to the deadline. 

State statues and local ordinance require the payment of prevailing wage by all contractors and subcontractors on this job.  Project documents may be obtained from the listed point of contact or downloaded from the Town's website,  The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all quotes received and to waive any formalities in the solicitation procedures.  The contact awatd will be made by staff and their decision will be final.
