  2. Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run Competition

    The Pitch, Hit & Run Competition is a FREE 1-day event for boys and girls ages 7-14. PHR is the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. Participants will compete in either the Baseball or Softball Division and have the opportunity to advance through four levels of competition. Pre-registration is strongly encourages, but on-site registration is available.

  3. SAVE THE DATE – Constitution Trail celebrates 30 years!

    The Constitution Trail was dedicated back in May 1989, and 30 years later – it’s bigger and better than ever! Join us on Saturday, May 4 at 12:00pm at the Connie Link Amphitheatre in Normal as we honor the history, and celebrate the future, of Bloomington-Normal’s most popular park. The celebration will kick off with music by Kickin’ and Pickin’, special remarks at approximately 12:45pm, followed by refreshments. Local advocacy groups will have informational booths at the event. The 30th anniversary celebration is a collaborative event by the City of Bloomington, Town of Normal, Friends of the Constitution Trail, and McLean County.

    Hosted by Mickey Lower and her dance council, this is an opportunity to meet others who love to dance. No partner needed. Basic steps are taught as an introduction for first 45 min. Remaining class time is spent dancing and socializing to a variety of music.
